He is survived by: his mother Mildred Melau (McLaughlin-Melau-Morel); his sister-in-law Marlene Melau of Troy Grove; his nephew Mitchell Melau (Melissa) of Troy Grove; his goddaughter Marissa Trumper (David) of LaSalle; and his friend Candy Bavido of Sterling.
