He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Burton and Emma Julia Nelson (Heminover); and his siblings, Marie Johnson and Richard Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Iverson; his sons, Timothy Nelson (Valarie) of Leland, IL and Jeremy Nelson (Amee) of Leland, IL; his grandchildren, Michelle (AJ), Jordan (Candace), Caitlyn, Lynsey, Madison and Gunnar; his great grandchildren, Emma, Jocelyn, Chase and Natalie; and his siblings, Patricia Gates of Sandwich, IL, Rita Alsip of Minooka, IL and Charles Nelson (Kay) of Leland, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
