He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Grover of Leland and Doris Grover of Leland; and his brother-in-law Jack LaVoy of Leland. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Brandon Grover of Las Vegas, Alaina Burke (Darby) of Princeton and Christopher Grover (Jenna) of Ottawa; and his siblings, Pamela LaVoy of Leland, Spencer Grover (Susan) of Carmel, Linda Richard (Dale) of Batavia and Donna Gustafsson (Glenn) of Bel Air.
A "Celebration of Life" will be hosted on Sunday, April 15th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at C&M Canoe Rental at 3401 E 2062nd Rd, Ottawa, IL 61350 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Legion Post 570, PO Box 186, Leland, Illinois 60531 for veterans suffering from brain injury and/or PTSD.
