He was predeceased by: his father Warren Kiest. He is survived by: his mother Janice Kiest (Pfoutz) of Leland, IL; his daughter Madison Rausch of Somonauk, IL; and his siblings, Leona Meekins of Florida, Douglas Kiest (Christine) of Sandwich, IL and David Kiest (Melissa) of Oswego, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Leland Lions Club or the charity of one's choice.
