It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Johnson (Lee, Illinois), who passed away on August 4, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Hazel Johnson (Berg); and his brother Kenneth Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Miller; his children, Renee Rinard (Brian) of Prole, IA and Steve Johnson (Lisa) of Shabbona, IL; his brother Glen Johnson (Ginger) of DeKalb; his siblings-in-law, Donald Miller (Pat) of Hinckley, IL and Lois Mesmer of DeKalb, IL; his grandchildren, Morgan, Tate, Libby Johnson, Maddison and Eric Rinard; and his great grandchild Cynthia Utter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Vernon's memory to Calvary Lutheran Church or Serenity Hospice & Home.
