It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Joanne Hopwood (Lee, Illinois), born in Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Jordal and Edith Jordal (Berg); her husband Richard L. Hopwood; her brothers, Edwin Jordal and Marlin Jordal; and her son-in-law Robbie Buck.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hopwood of Rochelle and Shirley Buck of Rochelle; her brother David Jordal (Lynn) of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Mark Hopwood of Byron, IL, Megan Wells (Dale) of Rochelle, Kristen Worley (Michael) of Stillman Valley, IL, Kathryn Norup (Kip) of Leaf River, IL and Matthew Buck of Rochelle; and her great grandchildren, Kiara Sanchez, Hudson, Holden and Hallie Worley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church or Serenity Hospice and Home.
