She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell H. Furman and Hiskea "Carrie" Furman (Harms); her husband Wayne E. Hardy; and her siblings, Keith, Curtis Furman, Reta Meling and Joyce Gittleson.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hardy (Lisa) of Davis Junction, IL, Nancy Lang (Jeff) of Geneseo, IL and Carol Hardy of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Loren Furman (Ruth) of Rochelle, Wayne Furman (Connie) of Belleville, IL, Wendell Furman of Rochelle, Carol Friestad of Rochelle and Kay Clark of Mt. Morris, IL; her grandchildren, Allen Hardy (Kelly) of Princeton, IL, Nola Eatherton (Phil) of Peshtigo, WI, Amber Bolander (Erik) of Genoa, IL and Colby Lang of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchildren, Grant, Heath Hardy, Jack, Luke Eatherton, Briar and Brynn Bolander.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Doris's memory to St. Paul Lutheran School.
