He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Stangeland and Louise Stangeland. He is survived by: his wife Alfhild Njoten of Lee, IL; his daughters, Melissa Kanwischer (Doug) of Bettendorf, IA and Julie McLearen (James) of Woodridge, IL; and his grandchildren, Dax and Brynn Kanwischer.
