With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia L. Steele (Lebanon, Illinois), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robbie Edward Thomas and Joseph Thomas; her sister Betty Lemons; and her significant other James Phillip Steele. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda "Dede" Steele of Vista, CA; her granddaughter Sonja Steele; her sister Josephine Hansel; her grandsons, Nathaniel Woodard of Vista, CA, Ryan Woodard and Kyle Floyd; and her great grandchildren, Rhyan, Tony, Roman and Eden Woodard. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends.
