We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2024, at the age of 78, Sharon D. Chappell of Lebanon, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram L. and Thelma R.. She is survived by: her brother Dwight Chappell (Colleen) of Sun Prairie, WI; and her niece Christine R. Chappell-Belkin (Sergei). She is also survived by 5 great nieces and nephews Sharon was a very loving aunt to her nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 423 Lucinda, Belleville, IL 62221, Funeral: Funeral procession will leave Kurrus Funeral Home at 12:45 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 for a graveside service at 1:00 pm, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Belleville, IL with Pastor Gary Huffman officiating.
