Paeltz; her siblings, Angelia Blackman-Donovan (James), Mark Phillip Blackman (Teressa) and Elizabeth Blackman; her nephews, Michael Donovan, Scott Isbell, David Donovan, Jonathan Donovan, Joshua Shelton, Stephen Blackman, Mark Ryan Blackman and Christopher Blackman; and her niece Sarah Shelton Hirtzer.
