It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dietz of Lebanon, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ferdinand (Anna); his brothers, Charles Dietz, Robert Dietz (Sharon) and Paul Dietz; his parents-in-law, Louis and Mary Jo Ann Bateman; and his brother-in-law Clifford Bateman.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Shari and Mike (Julie); his grandchildren, Aiden, MaKaelyn and Bryson; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Dietz, Jean Dietz and Jo Ann Bateman; and his brothers, Ronald (Ruth Ann Knerrer) and Michael (Rosemarie Berkemeier). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Paul UCC Building Fund.
