She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamil Romanous and Najeebe Romanous; her husband Farid Khattar; and her sisters, Ivette Alwan, Houlia Monla and Anna Ghantous.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Khattar (Linda), Najeebe Geagea (George), Ilda Couri (late Kenneth Couri), Tony Khattar and Laurie Dufresne (Gerrit); her grandchildren, Jarrett, Jeanette, Nadia, Amanda, Gabriel, Rachel, Michelle, Tommy, Matthew, Mia, Dominic, Lucas, Marina, Alexandra and Nathan; and her sister Georgette Siedlecki (Jim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be given to St. Anthony's Orphanage (St. Antonius) in Kfarfou-Aitou, Lebanon, (Checks Payable to Raymond Khattar) a cause that was deeply personal to Jeanette.
