He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hamann and Emma Hamann; his daughter Kerri Preston; and his siblings, Dorothy Elliess (Vernon), Kenneth Hamann (Jeanine), Viola Tiberend (Harvey), Armin Hamann (Norma Jean), Lee Hamman and Leo Hamann.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hamann of Lebanon, IL; his daughters, Kimberly Boyd (Will) and Kristina Dunn (Kent); his son-in-law Chad Preston; his grandchildren, Adam Karraker (Sara), Alyson Boyd, Alexandria "Xandi" Dunn, Audrey Dunn, Meilan Dunn, Maude Preston and Briana Gray-Abbott (Brandon); his great grandchild Aylin Karraker; and his brothers, Ralph Hamann (Jeanne) and Leroy Hamann (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
