We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Donald Koenig of Lebanon, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Koenig and Esther (Homer Luettinger). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Koenig; his sons, Brent Koenig of Trenton and Ryan Koenig of Burns Harbor, IN.; his sister Carol Jean Funkhouser (Paul); his grandchildren, Taylor Haas (Devin) and Courtney Koenig (Jacob Stone); and his great grandchild Lucy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Johns United Church of Christ (109 W Kavanaugh St, Summerfield, IL 62293). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Mascoutah City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association or to St. John's UCC and may be received at the church or funeral home.
