She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Norup and Ona Norup (Cherry); her husband Kenneth H. Conkey; her daughter Peggy Kretsinger; her brother Bill Norup; and her brother-in-law Donald Hunziker.

She is survived by : her close friend Donald Myers of Adeline, IL; her children, Kenneth Conkey, Jr. (Kim) of Roscoe, IL and Pam Snow of Anchorage; her granddaughters, Mandy Puzon of Anchorage, Lindsey Conkey of Roscoe, IL , Angelica Cartell of Chicago IL, and Stephanie Conkey of Anchorage; her great grandchildren, Eliana Roque and Marquis Parks; her siblings, John Norup (Joan) of Crystal River, IL, Joan Hunziker of Freeport, IL and Deb Lambert of Leaf River, IL; and her sister-in-law Marie Norup of Leaf River, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund is established for the American Cancer Society.
