She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Rew and Grace Rew (Frank); her husband Robert Benthien; her brother Robert Rew; and her children, Kathy Cummins and David Benthien.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Benthien (Laura) of Rockford; her siblings, Marilyn Fensterman (Don) and Jim Rew (Alice); and her daughter-in-law Vickie Benthien. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
