It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernell Mattingly (Le Roy, Illinois), born in Addison, Alabama, who passed away on May 6, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johnnie Lancaster and Lottie Moore Lancaster; her husband Paul Edward Mattingly; her children, Paul Ray Mattingly (Kay) of Olathe, Robert Mattingly (Kathy) of Oakwood, Illinois and Minnie Kay Webb of Le Roy, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Cindy Mattingly of Mahomet, Illinois; her sister-in-law Mary Mattingly of Bloomington, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michelle Oregeron (Curtis), Lindsay Hale, Tina Mattingly, Erick Mattingly (Nikki), Moe Mattingly (Lindsay), Kelly Barkley, Brandy Compton (Jason) and Melissa Schweigert (Steve); and her son Claude Junior Mattingly. She was also cherished by sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
