With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Ramsey (Le Roy, Illinois), born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" and Jean Ramsey; his sister Ronelle Bunnell; his daughter Erica Edgington; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Edgington (Young); his children, Troy Ramsey (Kim) of Aiken, SC., Shane Ramsey (Linda) of Homer Glen, IL., Justin Ramsey (Kelly) of Phoenix, AZ. and Wendy Brent (Adam); his grandchildren, Brendan, Leah, Nate Ramsey, Tyson and Kobe Brent; and his brothers, Russ Ramsey (Beth) of Rochester, IL., Rocco Ramsey (Chris) and Ryan Ramsey (Becky). He is also survived by his sons and grandsons competing in sports, his granddaughter.
