He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Mary Lou Flegel (Anderson); his daughter Elizabeth Flegel; and his granddaughter Alayna St. Pierre. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Flegel (Rhonda), LeRoy, Jacob Flegel (Ramie), Samuel Flegel and Bloomington; his stepchildren, Tim Veitengruber (Colleen), Katrina St (Nate) and Elise Frazier (Kyle); his grandchildren, Aubrie, Shawn, Wyatt, Maddox, Mila Flegel, Isaac, Evan St. Pierre, Cole, Liam, Adler Frazier, Anna, Calvin and Adrian Veitengruber; and his sisters, Mary Ella Mennenga (Dennis), Melinda Flegel and Susan Bratcher.
