It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leighton Vance Dunkin Jr. (Le Roy, Illinois), born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Dunkin (Williams) and Leighton Dunkin Sr.; and his sister Estello Birkey. He is survived by: his spouse Bettie Payne; his son Brandon Dunkin (Aubri) of Aurora, Colorado; his grandchildren, Bradley Simmons Jr., Gabi Martin and Josiah Dunkin; his brother David Allen Dunkin (Chris) of Bloomington, Illinois; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Birkey-Sheldon (Hazel) and Freddie Payne.
