She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Doss and Doretta Morris Doss; her husband Malcolm Vallandingham; and her children, Charles Vallandingham of Decatur, Jim Vallandingham of Le Roy, Illinois, Lola Williamson of Le Roy and Patricia Gustafson (Wayne) of Carlock, Illinois. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
