She was predeceased by: her brother David R. Dyson. She is survived by: her siblings, Dennis D. Dyson of Phoenix, Susie Samples (George) of Farmer City and Ellen "Ellie" Wright of Le Roy; and also Pat Inman of Culpeper.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McLean County Humane Society.
