She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence King and Mabel King (Gossett); her husband Richard Lykins; her daughter Kristie Young; her sister Marilyn Luttrell; and her niece Jodi Brandon.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Lykins (Michelle) of Woodstock, Michael Lykins (Julie) of Rantoul and Richard Lykins (Rebecca) of St. Louis, Missouri; and her sisters, Marta Brandon (Ted Reynolds) of Farmer City and Nancy Cooper of Colfax, Illinois.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
