He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herman and Mary Catherine Painter (Riley); and his brothers, Bob Painter and Ronald Painter. He is survived by: his children, Patti Griffin (Jim) of Flat Rock, Lawrence Painter (Raeshelle) of Lawrenceville and Cyndi Sutton of Berne, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Abby Carter (Mike), Brandon Blann, Barbara J. Prine, Blaze Brooks (Amber) and Jenny Keller (Jon). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence County Little League or the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.
