We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William E. Fahr Sr. of Lawrenceville, Illinois, born in Hamburg, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Henry and Florence Fahr (Meinke); his former wife Peggy Lou Gard (Sweeten); his sons, Roy Gard and Terry Ross Gard; and his sisters, Melva Pfitzinger, Eleanor Cornwall and Marjorie LaVrey.
He is survived by: his children, Lou Ellen Bean (Brian) of Lawrenceville, William E. Fahr II (Susan) of Lawrenceville and Cindy Thacker (Phil) of Chauncey, Illinois; and his stepson Brian Montgomery (Lindsay) of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Central Christian Church Youth Group or Salvation Army.
