She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Johnson and Ida Lenora Johnson (Wirey); her husband Maurice 'Speck Griffin; her brothers, William O. Johnson and Marvin W. Johnson; and her son Jerry Wayne Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Griffin (Patti) of Flat Rock, Donna Rodgers of Lawrenceville and Peggy Griffin of Cowden, Illinois. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
