She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Highsmith and Alberta 'Sparky' Highsmith (Foss); her husband John Cogswell, Sr.; her siblings, Everett McKinney, Charles Leo Hopper, Leonard Hopper, Loretta Shutts, Patricia Vestal, Louvenia McKinney, Betty McKinney, Norma Jean Hopper and Linda Lou Hopper; and her daughter Julie Wesley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Nettleton (Scott) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her stepchildren, Kathy Milligan of Greenville, Johnnie Cogswell of Bridgeport, Mary Davis of Berryville, Doad Cogswell (Crystal) of Berryville and Sally Gerold of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her brothers, George McKinney (Mary), Mark McKinney (Linda), Joseph McKinney (Sharon) and Oakley McKinney (Mary); her sister-in-law Johnnie Mae McKinney; her granddaughter Jo-Belle Charland (Jeremy); and her great grandchildren, Joseph Lee and Raven Highsmith.
