He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J. Blevins and Sadie Blevins (Howe); his brothers, James Blevins, Robert Blevins, Roger Blevins, Joe Blevins and Jackie Blevins; and his granddaughter Ashley Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bridwell; his children, Amy Marley (David Hulfachor) of St. Francisville and Andrew Blevins of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his sisters, Pat Cotton (Charlie) of Lawrenceville and Chloe Zehner (Phillip) of Evansville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Lauren Welton (Cody), Mary McCarter (Heath), Amanda Marley and Austin Blevins; and his great grandchildren, Bryer Welton, Ella Welton and Collins McCarter.
