She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Allen and Leathie Allen (Funkhouser); her husband Richard; her daughter Deana Akers; and her grandson Bradly Petrick.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Angle (Kim) of Lawrenceville and Sheila Johnston (John) of Mt; her sisters, Louise Evans of East Peoria, Betty Thomas of Plano and Virginia Bell; and also Vernon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Island Free Methodist Church Food Pantry.
