He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Fredrick and Elizabeth Peters (Hackett); and his siblings, Mike Peters, Shirley Huber and Marilyn Grimwood.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Stanley; his son Ron Peters (Katie) of Carlyle, Illinois; his brother Paul Fredrick Peters of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, Zachary Peters, Matthew Peters and Waverleigh Peters; and his nieces and nephews, Terri Grimwood, Debbie Hahn (Stan), Steven Grimwood, Ann Jeffers (Richard), Julie Earnst (Dan), Stan Carter (Joyce), Eddie Carter (Vicki), Barry Carter, Steven Carter (Heather) and Annette Carter. He is also survived by several cousins, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
