He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Sharum and Beulah Mae O'Brien (Stevens); his former spouse Sandra'Arlene'Wright; his son Greg Sharum; and his siblings, Donald Sharum and Elizabeth Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Wendy Brinkman (Dusty) of Mt. Carmel and Grant Sharum (Peggy Wesley) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his sisters, Mary Allen (Tom) of Texas and Shirley Martin (Lowell) of Illinois; his granddaughters, Melissa Rucker (Chad), Audra Coons (Dereck) and Holly White (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Marina, Gage and Silas.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (1303 12th St, Lawrenceville, IL 62439). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
