It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Byers of Lawrenceville, Illinois, born in Claremont, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin N. Byers and Myrtle J. Byers (Atkins); his former wife Alice Wing; and his siblings, Dale Byers, Lowell Byers and Fern Mann.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Creager Yocum; his daughters, Karen Byers of Waukegan, Marcia Julian (Joseph) of Waukegan, Janice Byers of Friendship and Nancy Mason (Marc) of Grants Pass, Oregon; and his grandchildren, Colin Byers, Erin Beake, Don Julian, Hugh O'Donnell and Hannah Figgins. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
