We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Patricia Sturgeon Reed of Lawrenceville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sturgeon and Cynthia Sturgeon (Ruark); her former spouse V. M. 'Ris Reed; her husband Ris; her children, David Reed and Carolyn Roark; her siblings, Marjory Belcher, Iline Flanders, Earl Sturgeon, Roscoe and Elizabeth Sturgeon; and her great great grandchildren, Bodhi Slachter Pacek and Kaden Kelly.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Slachter (Alan) of Edinburgh, Indiana; her children-in-law, Charles Roark of Sumner, Illinois and Linda Reed of Sumner, Illinois; and her grandchildren, John Reed (Stephanie), Doug Reed (Sheila), Laurie Perry, Steve Slachter (Carmela), Jill Ferguson (Eddie) and Ryan Roark (Jenny). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
And, Cindy wishes to especially thank the United Methodist Village for allowing her the opportunity to care for her mother during her last few days during this COVID-19 pandemic.
