He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brown and Elizabeth Brown (Fry); his children, Rodney Brian Brown and Marcia Lewis; his brothers, Roy L. Brown and Bobby Brown; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown and Hope Brown.
He is survived by: his spouse Winifred Shaffer; his sons, Stanley N. Brown (Lena Kay) of Lawrenceville and Jim Brown (Maria) of Bloomington, Indiana; his sisters, Ruth Reynolds (Troy) of Port Neches and Lulu Belle Wilson of Vincennes, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Ryan Lewis, Danna Lippold, Dyan Lewis, Veronica Eagleson, Thad Brown, Matthew Brown, Andrew Brown and Ethan Brown. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
