She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wood and Ruth Wood; her siblings, Myra Lockhart, Evelyn Wepman, Judy Holt and Jack Wood; her former husband Ray Barrix; her children-in-law, Jan Barrix, Robert Dahlke and Scott M. Zalis; her grandson Nicholas Barrix; and her stepson Christopher Kieffer.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Kieffer, Sr.; her pet Hachi; her brother David Wood; her children, Terry Barrix of Wyoming, MI, Debra Dahlke of Lowell, MI, Joseph Barrix of Grand Rapids, MI, Susan Bach (Matthew) of Pinkstaff, IL, Evelyn Zalis of Lowell, MI and Jason Barrix of Byron Center, MI; her cousin Steve Cunningham; her niece Tonja Wepman; and her stepchildren, Dwayne, Albert Jr., William, Annette and Lisa Kieffer. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and their spouses: seventeen great-grandchildren: one great-great-grandchild.
