He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Shelton and Goldie Parilee Shelton (Medlin); his former wife Catherine; and his siblings, Herschel Shelton Jr., Wanda Belcher, Barbara Darnold, Maxine Shelton and Pat Stallard.
He is survived by: his spouses, Catherine McDonald and Betty Rae Treadway; his children, Steve Shelton (Susan) of Lawrenceville, IL, Boyd Shelton (Sara Lankford) of Vincennes, IN, Tresa Shelton of Lawrenceville, IL and Edie Hunt (Gib) of Lawrenceville, IL; his siblings, Ed Shelton (Janet) of Santa Claus, IN, Louie Shelton (Brenda) of Lawrenceville, IL, Terry Shelton of Lawrenceville, IL, Wilma Schroyer (Lanny) of Birds, IL, Sharon Weiss (Mike) of Sumner, IL, Linda Ridell of Hammond, IN and Debbie Blockland (Danny) of Hammond, IN; and his stepchildren, Donald Keller, Kevin Keller (Gina) of Bloomington, IL, Karon Keller of Apex, NC, Karla Crawley of High Point, NC, Glenda Roberts (Sam) of Greensboro, NC and Ronda Caudill of Robinson, IL. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Lawrenceville Senior Citizens or to Fish and Loaves.
