With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Margaret Rooney Ladner (Lawrenceville, Illinois), who passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances Loftus and Michael Andrew Rooney; and her sister Mary Kathryn Kunkel. She is survived by: her children, Julie (James Martin), Mary (Jim Bauer), Peggy (Clif Brittain), Tom (Julia Meier), Will and Ann Marie (Joe Blackburn); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Joe, Nancy, Todd, Aaron, Frank, Nathan, Christina, Jessica, Robert, Thomas and Helen; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Claudia, Sofia, Maggie, Evren, Josie, Grace, Xavier, Jimmy, Ayla, Luke and Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Breakfast Program or the Lawrence County Humane Society.
