He was predeceased by: his mother Beulah Howard (Stallings); his siblings, Eddie Howard, Everett Howard, Lois Spence and Lucille Wilson; his daughter Pearl May Howard; and his grandson Daniel Banks.
He is survived by: his father Sherman Howard; his wife Emily D. Harper; his daughters, Anita Banks (Robert) of Evansville, Dana Lynn Howard-Elder (Kelley) of Evansville and Rebecca Sue Arnold (Charles) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Ruth Devine (Josh), Audrey Hatfield (Chris), Loren Crask (Michael), Eden Daugherty, Kyle Laslie, Abigail Worley (Benson) and Julia Bauer. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Bridgeport Free Methodist Church.
