He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin 'Red' and Sarah Hankins (Ford). He is survived by: his former spouse Shirley Maddson; his wife Phyllis Beams; his children, Janet Konier (Tom) of Florida, Jeffrey Hankins (Karen) of Somonauk and Bradley Hankins of Chicago Heights, Illinois; and his stepchildren, Steven Kempton (Sally) of Montgomery, Roxanne Delorey of Wyoming and Sandi Farron (Chad) of Yorkville, Illinois. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren.
