He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clarence Kerschner (Evelyn Stephens Kerschner) and Evelyn Kerschner; his parents-in-law, Sylvester "Beck" and Wanda Shoulders (Cox); his brothers, Michael and Charles Kerschner; and his brothers-in-law, Danny, Bobby and Leroy Shoulders.
He is survived by: his friend Wanda; his wife Sharon Kerschner of Lawrenceville; his sons, Jim Brown of Denver, CO, Scott Kerschner of New Orleans, LA and David Kerschner (Dena) of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Sharon, Corey Kerschner of Lawrenceville and Ashton Kerschner Perry (Charles) of Bridgeport; his sisters, Linda Dodd of Springfield and Judy Kierstead of Maryland; his grandchildren, Olivia Kerschner of New Orleans, LA, Sam Brown, Dan Brown of Colorado, Elliot Runkle, David "Davey" Kerschner, Nick Runkle, Kaden Runkle and Avery Kerschner of Bridgeport; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Declan Perry of Bridgeport; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Shoulders, Wanda Kerschner, Joan Jett, Shirley Koberstein (Kenny), Becky Churchwell Gann, Susie Dowty (Randy), Anita Girardi (Tommy) and Jane Shoulders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
