He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hartwell and Mildred Adamson (Nease); and his sister Betty Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Ferguson; his daughters, Karalynn Harvey (Murl 'Pud') of Sumner and Leanna Cessna (Kelvin) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his siblings, Leland Adamson (Angie), Bonnie Scherer (Harvey) of Olney and Sally Cullop (Larry) of Vincennes, Indiana; his brother-in-law Sheldon Elmore of Effingham, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Jerod Harvey, Kourtney Wildman (Ethan) and Kaleb McFarland. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chauncey Church of God.
