He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grigsby and Nellie Grigsby (Woods); his parent-in-law Bobbee C. Mallory; his siblings, Vaughn Grigsby and Phyllis Grove; and his grandson Byron Brumfiel.
He is survived by: his daughter Dixie Brumfiel (Barney) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his brother Jerry Grigsby (Cheryl) of Florida; his grandchildren, Chelsea Richardson (Andy) and Aaron Bahr (Kat Metzger); and his great grandchildren, Maddox Bahr, Ryder Richardson and Lauren Richardson.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery (7573 E Il 250, Claremont, IL 62421).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
