He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winship and Mary Lou Winship (Fisher); and his siblings, Roy Daniel Winship and Theresa Diane Sechrest. He is survived by: his wife Sallie Shope; his sons, James Joseph 'Jim Winship (Tatiana) of Lafayette and Nicholas Brandon Winship of Bridgeport, Illinois; his sister Susan Lynch (John) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Noah Belle Winship and Zoey Jane Winship. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Senior Citizens or the Lawrence County Humane Society.
