He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford E. Shick and Ila Jean Shick (Harvey); and his spouse Beverly Frey. He is survived by: his children, Chris Shick (Ginger) of Lawrenceville, Will Shick (Angie) of Oaktown, Jackie Shick of Lawrenceville and Jeanie Ferrell (Tyler) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his siblings, David Shick (Julie) of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Henry Shick (Belinda) of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Mike Shick (Casey) of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Annette Farrar (Tom) of St. Francisville and Billie J. Tate (Tim) of Sumner, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
