It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard A. Prout Jr. (Lawrenceville, Illinois), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Prout, and Grace Prout, Sr.; his wife Shirley A. Stallard; his children, Gary Prout of Tunnel Hill, Cheryl Walker of Coral Gables and Mark Prout (Sara) of St. Augustine, Florida; his sister Evelyn DeJongh of Hartford, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Devin, Casey, Trent, Shane, Jason, Richard and Josh; and his pet Gracie. He was also cherished by his three brothers and three of his four sisters.
Memorial donations may be given to the ASPCA or the ALS Foundation in honor of his wife, Shirley.
