She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Whittaker and Lois Whittaker (Childress); her spouse Thomas D. Ellis; and her sister Nellie Brenton. She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Beanblossom (Richard) of Lawrenceville, Marsha Sobota (John) of Wheaton and Harriett Williams of Canton, Illinois; her stepdaughter Janet Caswell of Murphysboro, Illinois; her sister Jo Whittaker Gardner (Dick) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Amanda Shaffer (Brady), Todd Beanblossom, Stacey Wilson (Zac), Michael Sobota (Meghan), Crystal Brewer (Josh) and Jacob Williams (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Colton Shaffer, Carson Shaffer, Camryn Shaffer, Harley Beanblossom, Letti Beanblossom, Shane Wilson, Noah Sobota, Kahyden Bishop and Theodore Williams. She is also survived by three nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.
