He is survived by: his children, Edward Crawford (Peggy) of Flat Rock, Illinois, Marilyn K. Strate of Vincennes, Vicki Charest of New Albany and Linda Hood (Dutton) of Cecil, Ohio; his brother Ronnie Crawford of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Jamie Pillsbury (Larry), Chris Reed (Thomas), Michele Nay, Brian DeCanter (Nicole), Brent DeCanter (Janel), Melissa Samples (James), Jeff Strate (Rebekah), Kristi Gray (Kyle), Andrew Crawford (Johanna) and Ryan Crawford (Jessica).
