The passing of Edith C. Miller of Lawrenceville, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 97. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Chism and Clara Chism (Simmons); her husband Martin E. Miller; and her siblings, J. G., Don, Bobby, Verla Fisher, Iva Mae Orr, Lillian Dlugos and Wanda Chism.
She is survived by: her children, Mike, Miller of Mooresville, Deb and Dan Kelley of Olney; her sister Betty Kinsley (Lowell) of Evansville, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Lyndsay Shotwell (Jason), Sean Kelley (Megan) and Ryan Kelley (Kayla). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (1303 12th St, Lawrenceville, IL 62439). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hope Christian Church Food Pantry or Sarah Bush Hospice.
