He was predeceased by: his parents, Pheriba Ellen (McBride) and William Jennings Brian Selby; his siblings, Mary Benson, Robert Selby, Porter Selby and Marion Selby; and his children, Brenda Murphy and Phillip David Selby.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann (Seed) of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren, Galen P. Murphy of Michigan, Jared Paddick of Cincinnati and Stevi Maus (Dusty) of Oblong; and his great grandchildren, Anna Paddick, Greyson Holscher, Miles Holscher and Nolan Holscher.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Carmi, Illinois.
